Psalm 25:4-5

Psalm 25:1-5 KJV...Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. 5...Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

To say we are living in difficult times would be an understatement. We are searching for things to make us feel good, looking for signs that indicate things are getting better but ignoring the reasons why these times are so difficult.

What is the answer? Taking Psalm 25:1 thru 6 KJV...1...Shew...Asking God to show us His way He wants us to take. Not our own. His ways are far beyond our understanding but "Faith" in Him guarantees we will stay His course for us to take.

2...Teach us the lessons God wants us to learn and abide by them. The paths life takes us on has many twists and turns waiting for us, God's Teaching prepares us for them so there are no surprises. That is why our continual closeness to Him is so important.

3...Lead us in His truth, not our version of truth, only His. There is a saying "he who has the gold makes the rules". Using that metaphor, gold was in the ground when God said "Let There Be" in the beginning so His rules are truth. Teach us is mentioned again because we have so much to learn, so much we need to learn, we will never stop learning. We will have a better understanding as we age provided we stay connected to God our source. Learn and abide by God's lessons because His blessings for us come from our obedience to Him.

God should be the only one who you consult or confide in because He is the only one that brings comfort to the troubled person, if you let Him. If you want things to get better, Pray. The answer to the troubles in our society is God, not political parties. Yes, we are to take part in the processes but we use His Word as our guide and not twisting it to make it fit our view.

We want quick answers to lifes issues and problems we face but with God, He reminds us to "Wait". Waiting shows we have discipline in our life. Our issues and problems did not happen over night. Many times quick decison's create huge problems because we did not think them through or consult God. That is why your relationship with Him is so crucial. God will answer you if you have patience. Will it be the answer you want? Only He will know that. That is again where our  "Faith" comes into the situation.

Should you be wondering, why God has not changed the chaos we are experiencing? The answer is simple. He is waiting on us. 2nd Chronicles 7:14 KJV...If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

God has not healed the land because the people who are called by His name have not humbeled themselves, not praying for each other, not seeking his face and most definitely have not turned from wicked ways.

The choice is ours, which will you choose? Joshua 24:15 KJV...And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Thank Your Father for Your Word
