Faith To Believe In Spoken Word

2 Kings 3:16-18...And he said, Thus saith the Lord, Make this valley full of ditches. (17)...For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet the valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. (18)...And this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.

When God gives you a dream that your Spirit grabs hold of and wants to make the dream a reality, the obstacles that await you can seem overwhelming. We get so excited about the prospect of this dream coming to fruition, we don't even consider the enormous amount of work it will take to accomplish it or the perils that pop up day after day. We find out something else needs to be done and suddenly the cost of this dream becomes all to real.

When God gave you the dream, it was your "yes"...your obedience that enabled God to begin this work in you. You aren't supposed to see the obstacles because from where you sit you would have been defeated before starting. But from where God sits, it is no big deal.

When you step out on faith or a spoken Word from one of Gods messengers, God then sends people to you to encourage you through the periods of doubt. Their word to you is simple, trust God. The work load should not rest solely on you to make this dream real. God will provide you with a team who share the vision, rely on God to do the impossible because to Him, it is but a light thing to accomplish.
